Then said Almitra, Speak to us of Love
And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them.
And with a great voice he said:
" When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him, though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you, so shall he crucify you.
Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant
And then he assigns you to his sacred fires, that you may become sacred bread for god's sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart. "

The Bluebell Wood: by Ruth Angela
Based on a true event that happened in England.

The azure sea of Bluebell Wood,
The call of birds sublime,
The smell of earth in summer mood,
Foretold a happier time.
The picnic day was almost gone;
The sun was in decline;
She rose intent and ran alone
Down the steep incline.
She heard the angels singing low.
She felt the call to fly
From all the mean and hurtful blows
That'd caused her heart to die.
" Dear Lord," she called, "I'm on my way.
To quit this realm of pain.
I cannot bear it one more day
I'll know my home again."
Through nettles stinging faster now
Fleeing from her strife.
She could not stop any how
To try to save her life.
Her soul arose to meet the Light
She saw a being there.
With angels all around in white
Sending love and care.
"I cannot bear another day.
She makes my life such pain.
My mother harms me every way
She can." She did complain.
"Go back, it's not your time to go.
Go back; and live your life.
I will make it better now,
And take away your strife. "
The die was cast; the cliff drew near.
Her mother saw the scene
"Ruth, No! Don't Go." She screamed in fear,
Too late to help it seemed.
But idly walking near the scene
A gentleman could hear
The soul-deep cry, the mother's scream,
And raced up to be near.
And as Ruth leapt to please her will,
The brave man caught her fall.
They tumbled down the bluebell hill.
His actions saved them all.
The promise given was fulfilled.
Her Lord did soothe her pain.
Her mother's meanness eased and stilled
And joy returned again.
The lessons learned that day were clear
We cannot leave our pain
By leaping into space, my dear;
Our mothers we can't blame.
Whatever is our fate to bear,
Whatever is our Tao;
We must endure the pain and tears,
To find release in NOW.

Wisdom in 13?
Every 13 days, a trecena, of the Mayan calendar, if you elect to subscribe, you will see a newsletter in your mailbox. The Mayan calendar, the Tzolkin, according to various interpretations, is based upon the beginning of the universe and the solar system's relationship to the Milky Way Galaxy which in turn is spiraling around a "central sun" with which we are soon to align. This 13 day cycle will align you with the Mayan calendar, creating a link to the great event of 2012 when many cycles come to an end, and we take a big leap up the spiral. (see below) How that will manifest is unclear, but the acceleration of consciousness is happening now as the Tzolkin predicts. We are in for interesting times and adopting the 13, my lucky number, is one way I hope to harmonize with this event.
*Note: The date for this Newsletter is Friday, Sept 14, 2007, Long Count: 12.19.14.11.15 Tzolk'in: 3 Men
( NOTE: If you put the date 22 December 2012 into the Long Count calculator, it will tell you that this is a miscalculation. Such a date does not exist! Should we be concerned? It is less than six years from now. If you put in 21 December 2012, it shows 13.0.0.0.0.0 The End. This calendar is said to date from the beginning of the known universe! Does this give you pause? ) More next newsletter.
